What We Offer

At Ocean Tribe Tours, we offer intimate, private diving courses and passionate dive experiences in the beautiful waters of False Bay. Led by a PADI-certified Instructor and Divemaster team, our bespoke trips are personal, professional, and all about connecting you with the ocean.

Where We Dive

Our dives take place in the vibrant waters of False Bay, home to a wide range of stunning dive sites — from kelp forests and reefs to walls and wrecks. With such a diverse underwater landscape, we carefully select the best site for each day based on weather and ocean conditions.

As the ocean sets the schedule, dive times and meeting locations will be confirmed the day before your trip. Safety is our top priority, and we always plan with your comfort and experience in mind.

We offer guided dive trips for certified divers, with the choice of a half-day experience (one dive) or a full-day adventure (two dives). Most of our dives are shore entries, but if you prefer a boat dive, just let us know — we’re happy to arrange it where possible. Most of our dives take place in the morning, giving you the rest of the day to explore — perfect for weekend plans or holiday getaways.

Snorkelling Excursions

Explore the rich marine life of False Bay from the surface. Our snorkelling trips require no prior experience — just basic swimming skills and a sense of adventure! A great option for those who want to get close to nature without going too deep.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving (DSD)

New to diving? Try our PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience — a full-day introduction that gives you the chance to experience the magic of diving under the guidance of a certified professional. No prior certification needed.

PADI Refresher Course

Haven’t been in the water for a while? Our Refresher Course is designed for certified divers who haven’t dived in 6 months or more, or anyone wanting to brush up on their skills in a relaxed environment before heading back into the ocean.

PADI Open Water Course

Take your first step into the world of scuba diving with the internationally recognised PADI Open Water Course. This beginner-friendly course teaches you the essential skills and knowledge needed to dive safely and confidently. You’ll complete theory sessions, pool or confined water training, and open water dives under the guidance of a certified instructor. Once certified, you’ll be able to dive anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of 18 metres.

PADI Advanced Open Water Course

Ready to build your confidence and explore more of the underwater world? The PADI Advanced Open Water Course is designed for certified divers who want to improve their skills and gain more diving experience. The course includes a variety of adventure dives, including Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation, while allowing you to try different types of diving based on your interests. It’s the perfect way to continue your diving journey while exploring new environments and techniques. Once certified, you’ll be able to dive anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of 30 metres.
