Hi there!
We’re Claudia and Phillip, your dive guides and the team behind Ocean Tribe Tours — a small, passionate operation offering dive experiences in beautiful False Bay.
We’re both certified PADI professionals who share a deep love for the ocean, adventure, and creating meaningful, memorable experiences for our fellow divers.
With over 8 years of hospitality experience (Claudia) and over 4 years in sales (Phillip), we bring a wealth of people skills to every dive, ensuring that every guest feels valued, comfortable, and well taken care of.
As we both work full-time during the week, we aim to schedule our dives on weekends and public holidays, of course weather dependent. This way, we ensure relaxed, quality experiences where safety and enjoyment come first.
Meet Claudia
From the very first time I dived; I was hooked — it felt like a whole new world had opened up beneath the surface. Since then, I’ve never looked back. I completed my PADI Divemaster certification in 2022 so I could help others discover the same magic I found underwater.
I recently completed a GVI Marine Conservation Course, which deepened my understanding of marine ecosystems and the role we play in protecting them. I’m also lucky enough to work full-time in marine tourism and conservation, which has allowed me to grow my knowledge and appreciation for our ocean over the last few years.
Meet Phillip
Since completing my first PADI Open Water course in 2014, I discovered a deep passion for exploring our oceans. In 2019, I became a certified PADI Instructor and have since loved sharing my passion for the underwater world with students and fellow divers.
When I’m not in the water, you’ll find me working in the agricultural field, helping my clients access the best tools and solutions for their needs. Whether on land or in the ocean, I am passionate about guiding, supporting, and sharing knowledge.
